"have enraged players who feel like they are being restrained from rising up as a faction against the alliance." How have the been restrained? Just because they can't all pile in to a forever war in Hisec against Goonswawrm, doesn't mean they can't fight. The changes are to make it so that a 20 man corp who war dec'ed a 10 man corp finding themselves fighting 500 people will only happen with serious cash outlay.

I agree with you, and I backed up that same point in the article. I was just explaining what many people had been discussing across the Eve-scape.

In my experience, it's been mostly one person well known for loudly banging bin lids together while wearing a tin foil hat with others following along for the ride.

I'm holding my breath to see how it all changes with the 1.1 patch. I've been on Sisi a fair bit recently and it's feeling much better than TQ, but you can never know till the community at large gets their hands on it.

The patch changes haven't really changed the way most people play Eve..

The shenanigans fascinate me, but I doubt I'll ever play EVE.

I reckon I'd find it pretty tedious unless I was prepared to give my life to it.

It's kind of easy to have a bit of quick fun in EVE (no, seriously), but if you truly want something worthwhile from the game it really does need to become the only thing you play... er, do. ;P
