Buy some quick oats, open up packet, packet essplodes all over me + floor. Put remaining in container, put in microwave, forget to adjust due to size change. Oats essplode in microwave.

as y'all know, nothing is truly square.
so we make our doors a few mm bigger than need be and the carpenter is meant to plane the doors back to make a perfect fit.

got a call this morning; a carpenter has planed back the doors we made for a client by waaay too much. each one is now 5mm too short somehow. at over $600 a door and i think 17 of them, thats an expensive mistake.
measure twice, cut once peoples.
that is all.

"Lord Uxbridge's leg was shattered by a cannon shot at the Battle of Waterloo and removed by a surgeon."

"One of the last cannon shots fired on 18 June 1815 hit his right leg, necessitating its amputation above the knee.[4] According to anecdote, he was close to the Duke of Wellington when his leg was hit, and exclaimed, "By God, sir, I've lost my leg!", to which Wellington replied "By God, sir, so you have!"[5]"

god that sounds funny for some reason. too much monty python and british officer parody skits in my head.

Ahaha.. reminded me of the days where I would stick a small dot of blutac in the middle of the screen to assist with shooting from the hip in multiplayer games, and I once tried some of those commercial brand stick on crosshairs, made sniping in BFBC2 much easier.

I do know one bloke who responded to being shot through the chest by turning to the person next to him and saying "right, now I'm cranky". Soldiers are a funny bunch.

my accountant called, his son had a baby boy 2 days before my own little un arrived.
seems his little one passed away 2 days ago.
