It's certainly a decent weapon and you can get some ridiculous kill streaks with it, but be warned, it will turn against you when you need it most :)

My strat is to just find a spot I know the ruskies will try to cross, and set up camp.. >.>

It's an effective strategy.

Also, just hang back and take pot shots across the map with it. The thing goes through pretty much anything.

I could see the barrel of a rifle sticking out a doorway earlier, so I let rip a few round into the wood of the building..and killed the guy. It's very cool.

It's finally here! :D
I've played a fair bit of it today, it plays like an absolute dream on the S2, although as you would suspect, the controls take some getting used to.

/\ iOS Max Payne was an incredible port, absolutely loved it. Have fun :)

So I bought Diablo 3 and 2 hours in I'm regretting it. What is it about this game that has people so aroused? Striggling to see the difference between it and, say, Titan's Quest.

Managed to put my recent BF3 addiction aside to go back to TDU2 as the new patch had come out. So glad I did. This is now one of the few games on my Xbox that I just play without worrying about achievements because it's so much fun (bf3 and NBA2K12 being the other 2). Spent hours just driving, playing in the casino, MP cop chases and SP championships. Do recommend.

Got Max Payne on my S2... well, waiting for Vodafone to let me download it -_-

Also got N64oid running again, going back to the classics. Conker's Bad Fur Day and Zelda OoT. OH YEAH!

Man.. Vodafone doesn't even work here, Optus is "okay" but Telstra is really ideal if you want decent reception.

I've just finished downloading Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012.. as someone who has always wanted to play Magic but never has, the tutorial is really quite good.. finished a few games on easy, still trying to figure out but its fun so far.

great coop fun, I've played about 50 hours and about 2 hrs solo which I do find a tad tediuos especially when you die but with a coop or 3 you can get healed and don't need to leg it back to the action;
personally a totally new experience, never played an isomophic game before and the beta drew me into the story, though the main characters do get on your nerves at times (wish tyrael knew how use a sword). Currently playing through a second time in nightmare and it doesn't feel old still fresh and fun/funny especially with a few mates on ts. and the artwork is quite stunning especially in 3d.

cheers :)

What doubly does my head in is how my DPS is seemingly based on the weapon in my hand yet because I'm a wizard it tales the form of that arcane bolt, is that right?

Yeah. You can probably get a refund if you really want to, after just 2 hours.

I bought it from EB for $59, pretty sure I can't get a refund from them...?

Look, I'm probably happy to keep it, I'm not going to give up so easily, I know I have a tendency to get ragey about games in the first few hours then slowly start posting my increasing level of excitement, so I may yet 'get' it.

Probably not from EB, no. I was thinking of Blizzard direct. :)
