If you ever do martial arts, make sure that your training partners aren't compliant. Moved to a place with bigger, tougher, non-compliant partners and went from number 1 student in 2 disciplines to basically door mat. Should have been clearer to my partners at the last place that they weren't to just let me take them down...

Oh well, at least the skills are transferable once I figure out how they work with proper resistance, so the last 12 months wont have been a complete waste.

I always worked super hard during the semester to achieve 50%, then I didnt have to worry as much about the exam - I still aimed for hd's, just stress free!

Got blocked up ears. Basically deaf in one ear it's that badly blocked up. Missed the doctor by 5 minutes... have to wait until 6 before he is back in hospital again
