If that truly is concept art then I hope it is from a very early idea that has since been scrapped; else a trolling joke pic.
Thief is a medieval setting mixed with steampunk, we dont need or want some silenced gun wielding; hoody wearing; modern day punk set in 2012...

Sadly you probably have it right there, people still praise Bioshock like it was a stunning continuation/spiritual successor and WHY is totally beyond me, it's like calling Counterstrike the spiritual successor to ARMA (though that's not drastic enough an example, cs doesn't tell you where everyone/thing is).

You. Stop saying words.

Definitely looking forward to this. Human Revolution definitely put this studio on my radar, I have a huge amount of respect for what they accomplished with it. Aside from the ending and the aforementioned outsourcing boss battles to a second party who obviously had no clue, it was a damn near perfect game, quite amazing for a first title.

A more modern theif game was the original concept a few years back, the way the dev team were talking about it made me think it could work, they were going to have a modern steampunk style etc

as long as they don't pull any lazyness like farm out boss-fights (Deus HR) or try to make it combat oriented rather than stealth, and I agree with the aforementioned no copying splinter cell please, it is not a good example of a stealth game.

another thing they should avoid is what they did to T3, stripping level sizes and open-world down so it would play better on console, say no to console-tard-itis!

my 2 cents

Yeah I enjoyed T3 but it definitely wasn't quite as good as the second game, I loved me some rope arrows and freedom of movement and in T3 they just restricted it over and over. What's the point of giving someone rope arrows and climbing claws if you're just going to coat everything in plate steel so the player can only climb exactly where you want them to climb?
