The premium service is pushed a little too aggressively; especially in game. The game itself has turned into one giant billboard for premium; everywhere you look. Even though I purchased the premium service and am considerably satisfied with it's value; those who haven't purchased it shouldn't have to feel dragged through the mud for not doing so.

Also, I firmly believe the priority cue should be abolished. It is a form of favouritism and a violation to what is fair. I'm surprised they haven't copped more flak over it. :(

Isn't there an additional cost involved to publish content on Xbox and Sony's online market place? Hence the additional cost. Oh wait, I have BF3 on PC... haha. :P

Doubt that is the case, otherwise the markup would be on all PSN regions. Not just the Australian one..

At least if it was for a hard copy of the game, they can try justify it as extra postage frees, or GST etc. But for a online feature? It is a bit rich to try tell anyone they have to swallow that.

I do agree with this.

I never want to pay for DLC and never would of if this didnt come out, the reason I did though.....This is essentially an on-the-fly expansion pack, I used to always buy expansions with less feature then everything I will end up getting in this.

I will always buy something with this much content fore $50-$80 seeing its basically an expansion. I have no complaints about this compared to stuff liek COD elite and every capcom games these days.

^^ This. I think the name "premium" is throwing people off. They should have just called it an expansion :P

It's basically an easy way for them to raise the capital required to fund the extra expansions and then commit to it. Also it means you now have a vested interest in the expansions coming out, you've paid for them! You'll want to give it a go when they come out. Not the worst deal I've seen EA do that's for sure...
