Thanks for bringing up the memories Chad, I remember when there were 2 CS servers. Bashing about on those with Azmoden and Chooky in cs_747, tking eachother with shotguns.

I think it was 2001, or 2002 when s0d got me onto Internode (I'd been through 2 other gaming names then until I used "sid"). s0d and myself were in the first session at the Griffs to when public gamers went for a boozy night with the admins. I think we were in a tiny room with Hart, Acaila, Uglypunk and Slaine. Which was later ripped apart and turned into a big room with pokie machines.

I loved that orange themed website, and still liked the one DracZ did afterwards!

I'm pretty sure I still have an mp3 of Ori and Ignant somewhere on my pc, of them leaving a horribly drunk voicemail, which I will get them back with one day

I think it's funny I've made all of 20 posts in the last 5 years and I've still got 6k up there

i was a late internet gaming starter, didn't game online until bf2, had lanned before but only at cafes.

Friend linked me to internode as first isp to sign up for when i moved out of home and i've never changed since then, love that service!

Got introduced to forums after i started playing on gon servers and the same friend linked me to the gon file library and so i discovered uncapped downloads

lurked for a while and then first posted on a 'weekend playlist' thread (just checked) what a cool idea that was

love this thread, always interesting to hear about startups and what happened from then until now!

Haha, just noticed i wrote my name under first post cause i didn't realise what signatures were. Gon was my first forum experience, thanks for the cherry pop!

I havent been around node for as long as some, but ive put in a solid innings so far i think.

Used to be alot more active then I am now. (Think I had around 4/5k posts when the big reset came)

This thread does make me a bit nostalgic. I miss Desert Combat and constant arguments and abuse with one of the LAB boys, can't remember his name but it was always fun to poke him with a stick cause he got so ****. I feel like it starts with B....

I miss the Forgotten Hope, Points of Existence and Red Faction Node A vs Node B wars...

Battlefield Mods used to be the bomb around here, I unofficially apointed myself official keeper of all PoE newsupdates, **** that was a awesome mod. It was like BF2 before BF2
