Went to a memorabillia store and saw a mount/print of the Terminator movies, signed by the cast of Terminator 2.
Sooooo tempted to buy it even though it costs about $1000.

I've pretty much used speakers and a desktop mic as long as I can rememer.

I'd recommend getting a decent pair of headphones like those above and trying them with onboard, if you have a mate with a soundcard take your headphones and music over to his and try it out, see if you notice the difference.
