The PVP looks like it will house FAR better systems than ArcheAge even.

There are *lots* of indie mmos in the works, these are just the ones I've personally been following.

skill-based player progression

I don't think you understand what this means, pretty much means instead of levels you are given skill points and you spend them to learn new skills

Outside of the obvious customisation of your mech, from hydraulics to gun barrels
"hydraulics" ? What ?

World of Darkness? Yes please.

Not really sure what reputation CCP has in the MMO market, but I know a couple of guys that swear by EVE.

Then that's no different to any other MMO? Doesn't matter if they're in a skill tree or jumbled up, there's always a spec for pve and a spec for pvp and nothing else is viable unless you want to be substandard.

I notice a distinct lack of firefall in this article

i await eagerly for ps2.

if its even remotely half as fun as the first, its well worth the fee.

being able to fly over a battle with 1000's of players is so much fun.

or taking a few mates behind lines and taking a solitary tiny tower. then placing mines and turrets around it and defending it. we'd create hotspot battles from nothing doing that.
aaaaaah the joy.

wazzuppi wrote:and the vampire one, not sure what they mean about princes? this is modern day london by the looks of it. the graphics looks amazing though would love a batman arkham city scape of freedom and you can start off as a human with lots of balance between humans vs vampires looks very nice, i have always wanted these type of freedom games since i was veeeery young and still no one develops these

In Vampire: The Masquerade lore the Camarilla (the largest vampire sect) would put a governing body in place in a location to ensure vampires stood by the basic rules and protect/punish vampires accordingly. The whole "prince" thing is leftover traditions from several hundred years of Camarilla existence. Just in case you were curious.

tremere are the skin crafters right? If so, they are awesome. I was always more partial to malkavians and nosferatu myself :) malkavians insanity was so much fun!

And the idea mentioned previously about the pokemon mmo, ilve been thinking about and hoping for that for ages!

Great article, definately some i wasn't aware of to keep an eye out for! Now to get home from work so i can watch the vids, my phone wont play them properly.

No that was Tsemecze or something like that. Tremere were the mage like ones who specialised in blood magic (Thaumaturgy)

They were in the original Vampire the Masquerade but not the rereleased vampire the requiem.

To be honest, I looked at a wiki on Vampire:The Requiem and didn't recognize most of the clans on display there. Why did they have to change the clans?
