Hitman: Absolution release date and pre order bonus

Official release date 20 Nov not sure about Australia though. Bonus game Hitman: Sniper challenge available when you pre order from 15th May from game stop for consoles and 1 August for PC through steam.

Very awesome pre order bonus imo, if you top the score board not only will you win a trip for 2 to Denmark but also have your likeness incorporated into the next game!!!!!!!!

Put $10 down on the game today at EB Games just so I could get this. Gives you a code (in a CD case) that you enter into the Square Enix website set up for this - need to sign up and then it gives you the proper code for xbox or ps3 (or steam). I guess it's an annoying way to sucker more people into joining their website/mailing list instead of just giving out the proper code straight away.

Anyway it's downloading now. 600 odd meg on xbox 360. Can't wait to check it out, it sounds like it's a lot of fun with a little bit of re-playability (leaderboards for time etc etc). Basically you have 15 minutes to take out your target and you can also go for bodyguards etc.

I'm not usually a fan of pre-order bonuses, and I think in this case maybe they could have just let everyone download it free to get people pumped for the proper game (but I do see why they're doing it this way). Having said that this is a pre-order bonus that interests me so can't wait to try it out

I'm going to head in later today and pre order my copy, can you access the steam code yet or just ps3/360? If so that would be awesome, so much rather play on PC than ps3

Completely agree with you, it should have been a freebie to all rather than those who pre order but I can see merit in how they have done it, can't say i've seen to many other pre order bonuses like this.

It's actually really quite fun. I've played it about 20 times straight and am still going. Lots of fun challenges to do and ways to dispatch your foe. I think i'll get bored of it eventually (once I've done all challenges and unlocked everything) but definitely several hours of fun to be had... and i'll probably pick it up at a later time and re-do it.

Sucks we have to wait until November for the game but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!

This little sneak peak just makes me want it more!!
