Sorry to revive the thread *again* but I'm after some advice.
As I mentioned, my single GTX 560 Ti is running most things reasonably on this resolution. I still would like to upgrade however.
The question is, would a second 560 Ti be a recommended way to get better frames, or should I just abandon my old card in favour of a GTX 670.
Reading into SLI, it seems that I'm limited by the RAM on only one of the cards, so I'd only have 1GB of VRAM across the setup, and I have a feeling that might limit me using high resolution textures and the like.
I'm also conscious of noise. My 560 Ti is not noisy by any stretch, but I feel like 2 would almost certainly be irritatingly so. With 2 cards in SLI, does it spread the load over both, making both cards cooler and quieter than one card trying to do the same thing, or will they both still run loud and hot?
Lastly on power consumption, I've read reviews and such and it would appear that a single 670 would use less power than 2 560 Tis, but is this noticable in real world terms? Am I going to actually notice a difference in power bill if I'm using either setup regularly?
