Beechcraft Baron?

What scenery mods are you using in those shots? Looks very pretty.

beechcraft baron 58, really nice plane to fly and small enough to land on country strips and has some decent power.
and the only scenery mods are the tassy demo, ftx_holger_ mesh and ozx_aus_v3.0 (all free); the graphics settings are per what v4moose posted except fps limiter set at 120.

cheers :)

you'd be surprised what you can land on country strips. I tend to fly my learjet CRJ 700 for regional flights. So far haven't found an runway that I've had trouble with :D

Downloaded some extra goodies today, For example the Saab 340 which REX flies, a b707 i think (older jet) and more realistic panels for default 737

Will see how they go tonight :D (if i'm not playing trainz :D)

I haven't really done much jet flying in fsx but since I've been flying the a-10c I should have a try of the smaller jets.
the passion has always been for the ww2 fighters, especially the f4u, p51d and the mkxlv spitefire and probably why I enjoy the propped modern planes.

the saab 340 looks a nice plane; that would be a similar size to the learjet but a turbo prop.
and yes so many good games out atm difficult to find time for them all.

cheers :)

Another dump ahoy :D

Cruising around in the New Zealand winter. Keep forgetting I should fly over Queenstown and recreate the half a plane ride I had in RL.

So then I started to chill in a Cessna around launny, waiting for peeps to show up for the Sunday social flight

Turned out to be a party of 1 :? So jumped in the C90 instead and took off for Hobart. I'm not exactly taken with the plane yet. It's pretty to look at but I have no idea how to fly it. :P

I couldn't help but notice the subtle window reflections in this shot which I thought was rather cool

So I've been chilling on the server a fair bit. Only guy I've really seen on has been cyclobs trying to get his Concorde off the ground. Did meet this kid 'Jesse' from Ghana who was a bit of a laugh in his own special way :D

This is a takeoff, not a landing :D

if you're no good at jets then try to work up to them, This is how i got into flying the heavy jets as easily as i do these days i just worked up in size.

I played a lot of fspassengers in eco mode meaning i had to do all the hours and money to work up to the next plane which by the time i was promoted i was pretty confident in the plane i was flying :D

The bigger more complicated planes are a lot more fun to fly.

I've only managed about 4 hours on the server and only about 2 hours logged but i do hope to get some more hours in.
Would be good if you guys logged your flight plans so we could keep a record on the server status page of the flights.
I've set the server to automatically approve flight plans and the command via the chat box is: +fp "flight plan name"
the server will then record how long your flight took and you can see that on the status page which you get to by browsing the server address.

again great pics v4moose, sunset at launy in the cessna especially; king air will be my next flight.

really a time issue, I spend most of my reading time with the dcs series and jets tend to need a fair bit of knowledge to fly them well; that said I will definitely try and read up on the learjet as it does look a great plane to fly.

cheers :)

and the link to the tigermoth in the guide thread is broken, I did find it at aussiex but you might like to re-link:
