You'll be extremely happy with your choice of GPU. I know I am. Overclocks well, power usage is great, and very very powerful. I personally can't wait to get my new 2011 beast up and running and get my second 670 in it :D

They both claim to conform to their UltraDurable 4 standard, though the UD4H has copper in it's PCB or something... That's what the U stands for. D is durable.

Looks like the UD4H has a printing fault and they accidentally put UltraDurable 3 on the board itself.

Edit: I remember what was wrong with the Corsair Carbide case now, it's too tall :o

OP your rams a tad pricey, you can pick up G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-10666CL7D-8GBXH (2x4GB) DDR3 for $60 @ PCCG, i would be looking at something else unless its a typo for a 16gb kit?

<3

other than that, lookin sexy!

That's for 2 8 GB kits, $59 each.

Decided to go with the UD3R. Just have to get the shop organised now :P

Would love to, but it's an extra $50. Plus if one of the kits fails, I can still use the other rather than relying on loaner RAM (that's likely stuffed too).

Finally got most of the parts I wanted. Had to sub the Ripjaws for Snipers since there wasn't any stock, but all seems to be working well.

Here it is without the extra HDD and Optical from my old computer.

And here it is in its new home (and the reason why I chose the case)

One suggestion.. get gear without LED/Neon lights...
Sure its nice while your gaming.. but second you try to use it for something other than gaming.... or try to sleep with it in same room.. they become a major pain in the arse.
Got one in the bedroom for watching movies, ex-gaming box. had to go buy a bunch of non-led fan's and a silencing kit.

Built wife's box a month back... No LED's, not even power or hdd indicators connected. Low db fans, silicone spacers and a splash of automotive sound deadener on the side pannels.
Makes the case much more user friendly at 4am ;)

It's unlikely I'll try to sleep with it in the same room when it's on. The only thing making significant noise as far a I can tell is the graphics card, which reminds me to make sure it's the graphics card :) The lights themselves aren't actually that bright, photos make them look brighter than they are.

I know it's not the side fan, noise level is the same with that on or off.

Pretty happy with temps at the moment. Playing Skyrim CPU got to max of 50° and the GPU got to 60°. Bit concerned about how fast the CPU heats and cools, it's pretty much 25° to 50° and back instantly with changing load.

If it's dropping quickly then it would suggest that it's working well.
NH-D14 temps at load from a 2600k @ 4.5Ghz were 45~ so for that cooler it seems like a good temperature.

I was more concerned from a thermal expansion standpoint. Temperature changes that fast can't be good for things.

Probably why I'm not a CPU designer :D
