Microsoft Responds to XBox LIVE Account Jacking Complaints

A rise in Xbox LIVE account thefts being conducted by social engineering and customer service manipulation has been addressed by Microsoft themselves, who say that they are "aware of the vulnerabilities that social engineering poses, and continue to address these through tools and training to help keep (their) members safe and secure". The scamming, which revolves around impersonating account holder in phone conversations and emails, is now several months old but has come to light in recent days.

Idk about LIVE but some sites offer the ability to write your own secret questions and I always make use of that to write ones that nobody but me can guess (i.e. choosing what city you live in is quite weak as some people would say where they live openly in IM chats).

I have reached end game with them, they refuse to fix the problem, points were spent on a game I don't own and have never played, used on a console that wasnt mine.
