'Enter the Metro' Short Film Released, is Glorious

Unread postby News Portal » 25 May 12, 2:47 pm

THQ today released their 'Enter the Metro' short film, a four-minute live-action film showing the events immediately preceding the exodus into the subway tunnels. It's a surprisingly epic outing, and sets the tone beautifully for [app=8215]Metro: Last Light[/app] - except that we have to wait until 2013 to play it. Click on through to see it for yourself.

That was a really well done short film.

Sorta makes me wonder why I didn't finish Metro 2033. And then I remember, I'm a fraidycat ...

Well done to the guys who made that clip. Well Done

Very well done short film! :-) I like the Metro world more than S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

Metro 2033 was a great game.

I hope they expand on the human battles, I want to be free to do more things in the stations and to free like its an open world down there.

Battling the monsters was the buggier side of the game and not the best parts in my opinion, I liked battling the different groups the most. But great game needed a bit more polish, especially to stop monsters been able to go through you.

I loved how Metro 2033 captured the atmosphere and it seems like they're doing it again. :D

Really looking forward to it. 8)

Probably one of the best trailers I have seen

Always good to see a developer think outside the box. That little 4 minute trailer has essentially given us the basic storyline and done it in a really cool, creepy kind of way. I love how they kept the language in Russian rather than lose some of the atmosphere/creepy factor by going with English dialogue

Really looking forward to this game, especially now that STALKER 2 isn't going ahead :D

Now that's the way game trailers are meant to be done!

Really wish Metro 2033 had co-op... I really liked the look of it and I'm such a wimp when it comes to playing FPS games alone. I doubt Metro: Last Light will have co-op through the campaign.

Awesome...considering I just finished the book. Excellent read, would recommend it to any fans of the game. I'm about to start the campaign again aswell, hopefully i'll pick up on a few more things now due to the book.

Sent chills down me, especially the part with the missiles launching. Hope humanity never comes to this or something similar.

I never understood what all the fuss was about with the Librarians. Fill them with enough buck shot and they go down easy enough.
