Ubisoft Ramping up Development on Unannounced 'Groundbreaking MMO'

Massive Entertainment, an Ubisoft studio, is hiring out for new staff to work on a mysterious next-gen title. While the project is understandably under wraps, the ads sure do bandy around the words 'groundbreaking MMO' a whole pile. It seems most likely the unannounced game will be the rumoured Assassin's Creed MMO, but we'll be keeping a steady eye on Ubisoft for more clues in the coming months.

I completely agree. I loved the MMO genre when it came out. UO, EQ, DAoC, SW:G. Now it's rediculously oversaturated with the same game with different skins.

Totally off topic but since playing diablo 3 all I have been thinking is how much I want an original UO remake with diablo 3 view style and graphics. Oh god that would be the only MMO that I would really be interested in.

Ground breaking eh? Ground breaking like the majority of other clone MMOs that have been released over the years? I dearly hope so but I won't hold my breath.

WTB a Warhammer 40k MMORTS (figure if I drop the idea enough times that it'll eventually come true).
