I agree, even if I'm using something like the Sig I still don't "feel" it like in other shooters, I find it's often really hard to tell if I hit someone (or even when my bullets are going.
I have a bit of an issue with many of the weapons atm tbh, seems like it's "headshot or nothing" most of the time, either you headshot someone or they just soak up a whole mag, I shot someone 3 times center mass with the basic pump shottie yesteray at about 10ft and after he killed me I honestly couldn't tell one way or the other if I had hit him or not.
The recoil on most of the guns seems to be even MORE random and floaty than in CSS if that's possible, let off a burst of more than 3 rounds at any range and they feel more like a cheap paintball gun than a real weapon.
Some of the uniforms can also be a little hard to differentiate at a distance too.
Can't say i like the direct weapon switching either, I was always a fan of being able to scroll the menu with mouse down and setting mouse up to last used weapon, now you have to cycle too much or use number keys
So far to me it just feels like a cheap cash-in on the previous title (which was a cheap cash in on the original) except they somehow managed to make it feel crappy instead of improving it.
