Missing anything?

Unread postby Cozi » 22 May 12, 12:01 am

So I am heading overseas for a couple of weeks and feel like I am forgetting to take something :|

So I have:

Passport/flight stuff
clothes
phone/charger/wall adapter
wallet
tooth brush/tooth paste
deodorant
pillow (love my pillow)
camera
pain killers

Any other essentials that I have missed :?:

When doing big trips I usually keep a photocopy of my itinerary, tickets, and passport and keep it in a separate bag.

How bout a spare pen? Means you may/may not have to fight over one in immigration/fill out your card in advance on the plane.

Charger for your camera batteries?

Have you registered with http://www.smarttraveller.gov.au? Travel insurance?

Happy travelling!

Nah I haven't registered actually. I suppose I should?

Got travel insurance coz I put it all on my credit card. Had a quick look through the policy seemed to cover most things.

Yeah got charger for camera.

Definitely should register. I know its a pain to detail all the places you're going/staying but in this wacky world you never know what may happen.

Depending on what you're taking, sometimes its easier to take a four plug power board, that way you only need one power adaptor.

Good call - is what I did on a recent trip to Europe via Dubai (passing note: for some unfathomable reason, UK power adaptors work in Dubai powerpoints).

Mersyndol for pain killers.

Money??? Pulling it out of the wall? Will be taking a bit of cash and getting some changed over.

Thanks! Ill probably just take a double adapter which should do me fine.
