not everyone watches the episode on release. some people wait for DVD release, some people wait a few days. just because you have watched it, doesn't mean everyone has.

why does it matter that you have to click on the hidden button?
it was a simple question with a simple answer. I didn't make a big deal of it I just asked because it makes the thread a lot nicer to read and take part in. Had you read my question you would know it had nothing to do with clicking the hidden tags. It just seems backwards to me as I avoid the thread until I've caught up(like today, where I only watched the latest episode this morning). Anyway, I said I was just asking and wouldn't push the fact but I'll probably just focus on other threads about the show as they are a lot nicer to go through.

So then why do people who haven't watched it and don't want to see spoilers click on a thread that is explicitly labelled as the thing they don't want to know about?

Seems like some sort of cognitive dissonance to me.

This thread is clearly labelled "Game of Thrones Season 2", so if you haven't watched season 2 and don't want to know the spoilers then don't open the thread?
pretty simple.

so yeah, don't read a thread about something you don't want to know about.
problem solved.

Sort of what I was thinking, but anyway it doesn't matter.

Why do we have to put "do not use in shower" labels on hairdryers? I'm sure it's related.

And if people have just gotten into Season 2 or are not up to the latest episode?

Please, be **** considerate and not retarded. It's not hard to put your opinion into hidden tags.

I understand that POV Jnr and I do use tags but you have to see how silly that is, if someone has just started watching season 2 of GoT then they have no place in an 18 page thread about the season. If they're just starting then just ONE post would spoil something for them, could be worse though, least nobody is **** anymore about getting spoilered because they can't see the hidden tags on their yuppie phone.

you guys are jerks. if it's story related, put it in tags.

it's not that hard.

Oh come on, there's like ONE spoiler post that's not hidden in the last 10 pages and it was by the guy asking about the tags who has never posted in the thread before.

yeah, but all the arguing and basically saying "SUCKS TO BE THEM, THEY SHOULDN'T READ THIS THREAD" is still a bit of a jerk act.
just sayin'.

really?
so you can't see the idiocy of coming into a thread full of spoilers and complaining because there was spoilers about the thing clearly labelled in the topic title?

If you don't want to see spoilers then don't go and read the latest posts in a thread full of spoilers...

I get your point but perhaps you also missed this part:

You are responsible for your own spoilers. What that means is, if you don't want a given show or movie spoiled, don't read the thread about it. You read at your own risk otherwise.

Takes two to tango.
