America's, if you switch between servers you have to start a new character.

cheers :)

Just completed my first flight in the PMDG 737 from Gatwick to Schiphol, Amsterdam.

It's only a short half hour flight or so, but following the tutorial it took me a solid 2 hours configuring the dam FMC thing on the tarmac :D

loved the feeling of commanding an airliner properly, tutorial 2 tomorrow night which is meant to be even more complex.

Oh dear god, Call of Duty 3 will be the end of me. The Hardcore difficulty is way beyond that of later Cod titles. I'm up to the 8th mission and it's a forest fight and I'm all out of smoke grenades. Each time I make my way across the field to the next objective (a mortar and incoming troops) I somehow TK friendlies. It's not as if they're doing anything about the Nazi right up in my face yet they somehow position their ankle in-front of my bullets.

Still, weirdly calm despite maybe (honestly) 40 restarts of this same checkpoint?

Pretty good game all in all, if I wasn't having connection issues on the upstairs Xbox I'd grab the title update and play online.

I just put the Brutal Legend disc into my Xbox and I just needed to say one thing before I continued. This is the BEST menu screen i've ever seen!

It's hard to describe and i'm really doing it an injustice by trying but basically there's a live action intro of Jack Black taking you into a record store and pulling out a record called 'Brutal Legend'. Each page of the menu then involves looking at the different parts of the packaging (opening it up, taking out the disc etc) all via live actions shots. You really need to see it to understand. Just a lot of thought went into that main menu screen I thought.

The game itself i'm quite enjoying too. :) The open world portion needs work such as the desperate need for a minimap and other navigation options (getting lost is soooo easy) but for the most part I don't understand what people had against it though i'm yet to get to the big RTS battles.

The first part of the game I also thoroughly enjoyed (even the RTS battles). My main complaint is that the game just... stops. Feels very abrupt and all you're left with is pointless RTS battles - I bought the game for the tongue-in-cheek metal storyline and wanted more.

You know what I was disappointed with? The quality of the sound. It's **** pitiful in full stereo surround, sounds very cheap... which considering the game is BUILT around music, is piss poor.
