depends, if you judge that by the count of complaint on the forum then yeah it seems significant.

but on the other hand if you estimate the number of D3 players out there versus that, chances are the ratio is not gonna be enough for them to care.

There would only be a percentage of complainers on the forums. I bet there's plenty more who aren't complaining on Blizzard forums that Blizzard also equally don't care about that can't play a game that they just paid good money for...

Edit: Oh a new error: "There was an issue with the service. Please try again. (Error 1)" OH FOR THE LOVE OF...

interesting about the errors, didn't have any issue with the SC2 release, played straight away at the midnight launch.

EDIT - HAHA, just as I say that, I log into my sea.battle.net account and my SC2 achivements are all gone as are the records of all the ladder games Ive played...

EDIT 2- HAHA dumb, its opened my US account....

Bluefire was saying that MMOs were multiplayer games because they needed to be played multiplayer. I just turned his argument around to say that MMOs don't have to be played multiplayer if you don't want to.

Looks like you're a little confused buddy :58_59:

The bits I was laughing at are:

In thread

Marius wrote:After playing with the character generator I don't think that's the case for this MMO.

Then, pretty much twice now in this thread:

As if you guys weren't expecting server issues in the first 1-2 hrs. :P

I got home around 6 and by the time I sorted out dinner and had the game installed it was 7pm, 2 hours after go live. At that point I was able to log in straight away and create my character. Played coop with 3 others for the rest of the night with no latency issues/disconnects/etc.

The only issue I came across during the night was when an warning message popped up, i.e. "You can't cast teleport in this area", it would stay on the screen until the next warning. Would disappear after I teleported or zoned somewhere.

Overall, pretty smooth from my viewpoint.

You're quoting my initial impressions from a year ago, before I had even played the beta. Opinions change.

That said, I'm quite flattered that I'm so memorable that you remember my exact posts from September last year. :) It looks like I have an admirer. Do you have red hair?

Anyway, game is fun. After 2 hours of launch issues, game settled down, and I played for quite a long time. Managed to complete Act 1 after 6 hours of playing - basically playing normally, exploring different areas of the world. I shudder to think what people may have missed if they blew through Act 1 in less than an hour.

Hey they have queues now.. Means you can stare at a screen waiting to play the game instead of playing it. How nice.

*sigh* guess at least I got a solid 5 hours in last night. Only because by the time I got in I was too afraid to log out again in case I couldn't get back in. If this is the way the game is going to continue then why the hell did I buy it again?

Nice to see that people managed to get online for a little while at least. How many are playing single-player?

Planning on finishing it once by myself to begin with, see the story, see the sights and so on. Branch out after that.
Much as I did for the previous entries. :D
