It'll just create more complaint that a 'single player' game actually had a queue system at all...

they already got enough complaint from the whole 'online only' system with servers, queues will just make ppl go ballistic.

Worst then re-entering my password in a thousand times, could've always been removed after launch.

Agreed most appealing to me as been monk but I didn't enjoy that much in the beta, only other one I played was demon hunter which was ok I guess.

There's a difference. Unless you want to also argue that BF3 and every other online game is an MMO. :P

lol. Allow me to refresh your memory ;)

When I play MMOs they don't really seem 'massive' to me because I'll either play them solo or in small groups.

So MMO to me is just a game with online grouping.

Funnily enough though, that BF things was actually one of the points that I came up with :P

Anyway, damn you servers! I had only a limited time to get in before going out and you've ruined that! :(

I like the bird and fire animations on the menu screen.

Wasn't the open beta supposed to have given them all the info they needed to address this? It's not like they didn't know their servers were going to get hammered on the activation time.

That quote didn't say D3 was an MMO.

Bluefire was saying that MMOs were multiplayer games because they needed to be played multiplayer. I just turned his argument around to say that MMOs don't have to be played multiplayer if you don't want to.

D3 is not an MMO, but all online games can be either single or multiplayer depending on how you view them. I see D3 as a multiplayer game, but not an MMO.

Kind of pathetic really. I should be slaughtering demons wholesale right now. Instead I haven't seen anything past the login screen. On a game I was going to play fking SINGLE PLAYER ANYHOW!

This. Very much this. How could they possibly underestimate the response to a game release like this?

What you are forgetting is that EVERY time as well, the complaint subsides after the initial rush is over and so they most likely judge based on the cost of extra hardware and resource needed to perform it versus the amount of negative feedback they get from the ppl who can't join in that it's cheaper to just let it be.

I do realize that, its the same thought as insuring every delivery its cheaper to wear the cost of lost items vs insuring every delivery. Cant we just vent

It doesn't seem to be a minority of people not getting in though.

Other than that yeah I just wanna vent. Dammit I was practically counting the seconds so I could start a game and end up looking at the nice Error 37 message. GRAAAAH HULK SMASH!!!

edit:So I try again. It pops up with a series of EULA type screens and I'm starting to hold my breath and then...error 37.
