She's got Skimitar syndrome confirmed, accessory diaphragm won't be confirmed until surgery is done, and that won't be done for a few months. Have a case review with cardio, respiration, feeding, medical and radiology on Monday but likely to go home hopefully some time soon. Our understanding is that she can't be fixed until she grows for a few months.

After doing some reading on Scimitar syndrome, it sounds like surgery should fix everything up. Hope you and mum are getting some rest Artful, as I can only imagine how tired/scared/nervous you have both been over the last couple of weeks.

It is never nice to hear things like this to happen to anyone let alone your own child,I went through something similar and couldnt bring my boy home for a month. I am sure everything will be fine, loving parents can do so much.Best wishes.
