Unread postby News Portal » 26 Apr 12, 11:36 pm

Arkane's [app=8482]Dishonored[/app] is shaping up to be one hell of a glorious sandbox romp, and one of the most interesting new IP's to come out in a year brimming with sequels. Toby McCasker checked it out recently in London, and came back excited.

This game is looking really interesting. I'd like to add more, but I don't really know anything else...I'm not a fan of Steampunk, so there is that I guess.

Looking good. I hope it lives up to expectations. The possession mechanic by itself just sounds like too much fun.

Will try not to get my hopes up for this. But like the others, seems very interesting. I haven't seen a good possession ability in the game since Messiah.

Incredibly high hopes for this. It's combining so many elements from past games that need to be revived and being directed by some very smart people. Hopefully more games will pick up the design principles of the original Deus Ex like HR did and Dishonored seems to be doing.

I was actually disappointed with Messiah. Still, it was lots of fun possessing random characters and leaping off cliffs with them, jumping out of them at the last minute.

Looking forward to possessing fish, getting eaten by target then choking them to death with fish bones :P

Its turning out to be a great steampunk game, Im almost more excited for this game over BioShock Infinite. But either way both games will hopefully deliver steampunk awesomeness!

*reinstalls Dark Messiah to discover what he had missed*

Also Dishonored sounds cool I guess. :P It seems to have lost its source look somewhat at least but graphically does seem simplistic in its environments.

Messiah, not Dark Messiah, two very different games.

I still think of Sean Connery whenever this game is mentioned.

Sneak into the room, possess the mans goldfish, swim frantically in circles to attract him, then leap into his throat and choke him on tiny tiny fish bones.

Or.. Jump out the window.. If your boring.
