Bluefire wrote:If that is their focus then remove singleplayer completly, require groups for content and name it world of diablo not diablo3
The diablo series was created as singleplayer with multiplyer options. If they want to gimp singleplayer and cannot be bothered monitoring multiplayer correctly they could atleast name it right :P

Created as that, and evolved.
It's now a multiplayer game with the ability to do it solo. Simple as that.

Anyone else feel this is just going in circles?

Hate for origin?.. I dont hate it, I just dont see a point of installing spyware when its not needed...
I dislike origin because I still have the cash here in an envolope to buy bf3 and it will still be here until they remove origin as a requirement. Which they wont, and that makes me a little sad because I used to enjoy bf1/2.

:/ why not install it and enjoy the game? And it's not really spyware if you can turn that option off...

There is no option to turn monitoring off in origin since last I checked.
Sure you can sandboxie it but why encourage companies to design software like that?
Im not going to become another of their statistics, sure I cant personally stop them (to many idiots prepared to put up with anything at all) but I choose not to add to it.

Bluefire, can I ask whether you've resorted to playing a pirated copy of BF3 in order to circumvent the Origin requirement?

Eh, if Bluefire wants to live with his tinfoil hat, one less crazy I might come across in D3 and definitely won't in BF3. :D

Who are you to call anyone anything about what they choose to do with their hard earned money. Are you a financial planner that everyone on this forum has sought advice about where to save/spend money to make good investments?

Don't think so. By all means don't conform to the norm and be the sandpaper attempting to grind away at corporate society. But HOW DARE you openly judge them. It's their money, their life, they are entitled to do whatever they wish with it without being judged
