DO WANT! Is it as funky as it looks? The site I frequent for reviews and such gave it a very glowing write up so I'm tempted :x

If you loved Journey you will Love FEZ too. Awesome when a game manages to amaze and challenge when there is no penalty for death. Game really taps into your sense of curiosity and the attention to detail is unbelievable.

EDIT: Just finished Trials Evolution!

Finished Alan Wake! Such a fantastic game, I'm kinda sad it's over. I hope they definitely make a sequel. Hmm i wonder if i should get American Nightmare, but after playing the full game on PC it might be a step down... arrghh tough decision :D

I just finished it today! A nicely made original game which really nailed the atmosphere and intended design on the head. I admit the game dragged on a wee bit towards the end, and now I'm wondering whether I should bother with the two DLC chapters and the Xbox DLC.

And that's Crysis 2 done and dusted. Got so bored towards the end I just stealthed through the levels. -_-

Story was poor with characters being forgotten, characters with no real purpose, plot twists that had no meaning and affected nothing, plot points that end up going no where or forgotten only for some to turn up and continue again later as if there was some great plan around them all along, some things just being poorly explained and just generally being pretty poor and disjointed. This is why you don't let authors or script writers write your video games story unless they actually know, understand and appreciate the different medium. Also for the record I understood everything.

Gameplay wise also pretty average. Just a CoD clone now with some of the Crysis toys thrown in, most of which don't get used because they don't suit the linear levels and lack of freedom. Not terrible but so amazingly forgettable. The game had nothing memorable in it except the setting for the last level. Weapon customization got a downgrade and Armor upgrades needs to be reworked as they're not very good atm.
*Insert negative stuff here.*

Chaos Rings II (good & bad endings). I liked it better than the first one, but it **** me how when you start new game+ it takes your level back to 1. I would play though again to max out, but from the level i finished with, not from 1!

I would recommend going straight to II personally. I didn't play Omega, but i got a lot more gameplay out of the 2nd one than the 1st (I also thought the story was better). It is the most expensive out of the 3, but in my opinion it's worth it :)

Haven't played it myself, but have heard not-so-positive things about American Nigtmare.
The DLC for the original game is certainly worthwhile though.

Shadowgrounds : Survivor

As part of my commitment to finish 3 games before starting any more, I managed to knock off Shadowgrounds Survivor today.

A top down "2.5d" action shooter, it wasn't a bad game to play through. It somewhat feels like playing a old Sega Megadrive game in it's style of gameplay, which isn't a bad thing. Don't expect much of a plot or story to it. It's really just working your way through waves of Aliens, in different settings.

It was also rather short at around 4hours from start to finish. That said, it is only a $9.99 game on Steam and I actually picked it up in the Frozenbyte Bundle last year. For the price I would say it's well worth it for killing a few hours, thought its a shame it doesn't have online CO-OP as it would have added a lot to the fun to play it through with a few friends, like Valves free game "Alien Swarm".

On to my next two..

Finally finished The Witcher for the 2nd time. Hadn't played it since it first came out so it was fun to replay through it all again. Now for The Witcher 2 (again) :)
