Yeah you kick my arse on the physics and combined for sure.
The highest I have run my 990x was 4.53ghz and i tried it with these cards and got a 100 point increase so to me not worth it.
I will probably be waiting for the next gen of intel cpus to come out before I upgrade as in games etc i can't imagine that it would be much benefit to me right now. I get 60fps in all the games i play with everything maxed out so that is good enough for me now.
Also these cards run way cooler than the 580's i had before. after looping 3dmark 11, the max temps i have seen were 52c. where as the 580's (evga superclocks @ 853mhz stock voltage) would get up to 80c and some times above but usually no more than 80.
It is cold here in Melbourne and in my comp room, usually gets no hotter than 17 or so, in winter anyway.
One of the cards boosts to 1189mhz and the other to 1202 so i cant complain. If i give it max voltage (1.175v) and power threshold of 132% i can get a 50mhz core increase and a boost to 1239 and 1252 out of them but don't see any realy world improvements out of them. They don't seem to want to go any higher without more volts so I am happy with them.
