Unread postby News Portal » 9 May 12, 1:32 pm

Portal 2 fans with a keen creative mind, rejoice: the free Perpetual Testing Initiative DLC releases today, allowing players to create their own mind-bending, Euclidian-geometry-breaking puzzles. A fansite named Blappeture Mesa has appeared, showing a delightful audio file pulled from the released DLC. Half-Life fans should head on over and take a listen.

I am still cynical about its effectiveness…

Effectiveness of what? You do this all the time. Make a comment and never explain it.

Haha, cool. Even your player model is one of the black silhouette dudes from the Portal 2 videos.

There's no co-op option for making maps yet, they're adding it in a few months.

I don't believe you can design co-op maps with the editor yet. I suppose you could design them with Hammer and then upload them to the workshop but I don't think you'll be seeing co-op maps officially on the workshop until the built-in editor supports them.

Thanks for the info guys! I just assumed because I've seen co-op maps on thinkingwithportals.com that the Steamworkshop would have them on release...well you know, that and the fact that co-op was a pretty big part of Portal 2! Oh well, i shall wait :)

I am the ellipsis: personified!

I am sceptical to how decent this DLC will work out…
