Company of Heroes 2 Formally Announced, First Screenshot and

THQ have officially and formally announced the existence of Company of Heroes 2, along with a smattering of vague details. We now know that the game will use Relic's Essence 3.0 Engine, incorporate something called "Dynamic Battle Tactics", new Commander Abilities, and "increased graphical fidelity and new environmental destruction".

Company of Heroes 2 puts you in the shoes of the Russian Red Army attempting to repel the Nazis from "the very gates of Moscow". Click on through to see the game's first screenshot.

Hmm, the art in the screenshot kinda looks cartoony, and nothing like COH, it's most notable on the tanks and buildings. It may just be my eyes though.

i think its because its so clean and sharp, maybe some light and shadow modifications havnt been finished yet, giving it a bit of a same colour look (cartoon).

this will be an awesome game, cant wait!
