YES YES AND YES! I loved this movie, I'm going to see it again on Saturday, and more than likely again next weekend with the missus. It's everything I felt The Avengers should be, and then some on top.

Also, props to the new guy playing Hulk. He pulled it off nicely, and hopefully (for continuity sake at least) he'll stick around for future roles.

I'm trying so very very very very hard not to put spoilers into this post, because I keep wanting to gush about it to damn near everyone who would pay any attention to me.

It's that good. (In my eyes at least)

OH GOD.

Its -extremely- good. I had a great time watching it. And it features quite possibly the best NOPE.jpg I have ever seen in cinema.

Hidden: show
It's a fantastic movie - I love how they balanced the in fighting (hulk couldn't pick up Mjolnir for instance) without alienating anyone. RDJ stole to show as he was always going to - but the best moment for me was Hulk vs. Loki in Stark Tower when he refused to bow down to a "mortal" hilarious.

The only thing I wish I had of seen in the final battle choreography is the Hulk ripping out the spine of one of those giant snake things and using it as a weapon against the other - God Damn that would have looked cool.

Saw it last night.
I was hungover and the 3d hurt my head, but it was **** amazing!

Really enjoyed it. Only remotely bad things were possibly; too many cheesy one liners, 1-2 bad attempts at humour. But if that's all I can fault it must have been pretty good..

Just got back from seeing it AND loved it. Although good spot, terrible seats. I don't go to the movies often but I think I will stick to Gold Class (or whatever its called now) just for the leg room...

^ that is an example of why the Hulk worked really well in this movie (as opposed to his stand-alone ones). Whedon used him in "bursts" throughout the story, making sure whenever he had screen time to give him full impact.

I reckon this is the best way to use Hulk so I'm not sure what to make of the Mark Ruffalo 6 picture deal. I'm hoping most of those are for appearances in tie ins. If there is going to be another Hulk movie then IMO the story should focus less on Hulk and more on Bruce Banner.

I think the 6 movie thing is a bit misunderstood. I'm told it's a pretty standard kind of deal where the studio wants to tie you up for a long time so you sign for a lot of movies. Hardly anyone would get to 6 movies I guess.

And yeah they need to make the Hulk a more cameo role right now because I don't think there would be massive support for a 3rd big budget Hulk origin movie in 10 years. Ruffalo needs to impress in short bursts before people get excited about that again.

I took half a day off work to see it today. Fantastic movie; it's not easy to make a movie with such an ensemble cast, but Avengers pulled it off. You can nitpick the movie if you really wanted to but I say just sit back and enjoy the ride.
