Internode Announces 240 More Exchanges, New Easy Naked Plan

Internode, who you may remember as being voted the best ISP for gamers in Australia, are proud to announce that they have now expanded their Easy Broadband ADSL2+ service to another 240 exchanges around Australia. As part of the new access to iiNet's resources, more people in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Brisbane, as well as in iiNet's home town of Perth, can now experience Internode Easy Broadband. Internode have also rolled out a new plan, the Easy Naked Special, which delivers 150GB for $59.95 a month.

I would say it is to cover costs. Switching to naked is never a cheap alternative for an ISP, until you reach so many months (sorry I can't remember the exact amount) so they no doubt want to cover their butt so they don't lose money.

Thanks Chucky, i assumed it was to cover costs (still think it's a bit lame), but it is good to know about the switching plans during contract thing.

Please review reach plans as ppl love node but currently aren't value for money in regional areas. Very close to churning back to the dark side of big ISPs cos I can't bundle with node and others offer better value

This is a new plan? I've had this for the last two years... 150gig/month for $60.94. I did notice that the one I'm on was pulled a few months after it was initially advertised though.

Yeah, it's just a rehash of the old Easy Naked S plan but this time, you can't keep Nodephone2-Special if you change to this. Had Node not made the price hike many moons ago, I'd still be with them. Currently enjoying paying a tad over $50 each month for my MyNetFone Economy naked DSL and VOIP service which gave me more overall quota and a free modem in the process.
