Diablo III TV Spot Assures Us That Evil Is Back

Blizzard have released their TV spot for Diablo III, which contains a series of quick cuts from the game's in-game cinematics. As with every successive Blizzard game the cinematics seem to just get better and better, so if nothing else, this is a taste of visual treats to come. Click on through to check it out.

LOL. i just had this vision of some of the guys from blizz sitting around going,
'you think anyone will notice the deathwing footage in the d3 ad?'
'nah man it's pretty much just fire, evil looking things and dramatic music... it's almost exactly the same.'
'so how come people pay for it?'

Funny enough, this is a good example of why Bennett(Spelling) Ring was onto something with his GameSpy article about the D3 FPS. That advert (as firey and short as it was) didn't have a lick of Gameplay footage, and really, how could it? The game itself if you remove the brand is a pretty hard sell on anybody outside of the hobby, or even outside the genre.

Watching it really made that apparent to me.

I'm still waiting for a 16" Angry Bird plush doll I ordered from Amazon to get here. It was shipped on the 16th and was meant to be here for a friend's birthday. Even WOW HD took 5 days to get some games to me. Not happy Jan.
