going to the dentist seems to be like getting your car serviced. they say its gonna be $xx

but once theyre in there, they just start fixing everything without asking you first

when it comes to bill time. its like 10x more then originally told

follow muscularteeth's advice - do it yourself!
a bottle of vodka, a pair of pliers, wirebrush and dettol :)

I've heard about dentists doing this kind of thing before. I wouldn't pay it. Keep records of everything so at the end you can say "this is what I wanted and asked for, anything extra you added was out of the kindness of your heart as a medical professional".

So walked into Eagle Boys and there's an order sitting there with like 7 pizza's. Two blokes walk in and see it as well. They go up to the counter and start listing off a bunch of names of people at their 'party' that might have ordered it like they can't remember who. Silly person behind the counter offers a name vaguely similar to one they list and they go "oooohhhhhhhh yeah, that's it", pay for the order and leave with the pile.

Next customer comes in asking where there 7 pizza order is. Was pretty terrible acting that should have been picked up on straight away, and no idea why they payed for 7 pizzas that were'nt their's... I guess that's 3 meals a day for the next few days :?

Group assignments. I weep for the future of human kind everywhere. One day, these guys will be out in the real world, destroying it with one stupid thought at a time.

I would have told them what happened.

It would have made an entertaining scene at least, and they're entitled to the $70 odd that would have cost.

And hopefully get the kid behind the counter fired for that kind of thing.

I took a car to a mechanic ones, turns out it needed one new fuel injector, they charged me $100 per hour, for 15 hours labour, because they couldn't find the problem + parts. Filed a complaint with the Dept of Fair Trading and will never go back.

Better than a blown head gasket, busted piston, ignition system (coil/leads/plugs), cracked suspension, blown ecu and partially melted wiring harness.

While on holidays, just outside Bega.

$4k worth of fixing due to the fact we had to get it done on a weekend at a local mechanic. Took 3 days to get it done, so had to fork out for extra accommodation, plus lost 2 days a/l.

We just sold the car for $1k. Wasn't worth it -_-

Sidenote: Saw Ricki-Lee's new song/video clip on Rage today. Damn, she got skinny. And dances like a ****.

Just bought a game, forgot to check if it needed Steam to play... 2GB of updates later...

I hate you Valve. Seriously, **** you. You too EA. I hope someone creates a virus that crashes Steam and Origin permenantly.

we're doing an IT course ffs.. cert 4 networking, ccna and programming.. going into diploma..
I decide to make things easier for our class (total of 9, ) and close the facebook group we had going (since some didnt have facebook,) and made a forums for us to use.. forums.
easy enough to navigate, our class is pretty up there with the whole internet jazz, gaming and whatnot.. so it should be simple for them to understand, right?

"how do i post pictures?" 'how do i register?'

:dodgy:
