I'm certainly not optimistic about their ability to portray bearded bullet-sponges who kill hundreds of terrorists each actually engaging in human interaction. I'm just really hoping they up the variety of weapons in Warfighter, CoD style games like this are already close enough to whackamole without having only one or two mallets to choose from most of the game.

Ideally I'd love it if they let you choose your own loadout like you can in Rainbow Six Vegas.

Yeah I have to agree with everyone else, and the article. It looks different, it's certainly taking on a kind of angle that other games don't exactly try and get, but when it comes down to it it just looks like a different Call of Duty. I felt the same about the first game (of which I only played the open Beta) - it was good/okay, but essentially just Call of Duty with a less arcadey and (slightly) slower feel to it.

I'm actually really excited about this game. I must be the one person on earth that loved the last one. The thing I love most about games is their single player and storylines, so this will be a day one purchase for me. Haters gonna hate.

It was three degrees every day and raining. Living the dream! But I did play Battlefield 3 with Niklas Fegraeus.

I like that they have so many different military units in the game and not just the US marines. But it will take much more than that to convince me to buy it.

Nope i'm in the same boat, first game copped alot of hate but i enjoyed it far more than any COD title. The singleplayer that is, multi in MOH 2010 was terrible..

Played through the campaign, never touched the multi. The direct Generation Kill quotes were a bit on the nose, but the rest played exactly like Call of Duty 4/5/6/7/8. I'll stick with it's just COD for people who wont play COD.
