Shame that Forrestal video has now vanished. Its one of the main reasons my job exists.

The part i am still trying to figure out (and so is other armchair generals aside of the proper military analyst) is what exactly China's doctrine and plan for their J-20 is...

Unlike PAK-FA or F-22 their J-20 is MASSIVE, and certainly not one for air superiority mission per say given it's large body.

some suggested that it's perhaps something along the line of a missile truck, which seems sensible though others have suggested as well that they may be taking the safe approach for now while still attempting to get their engine worked out (china's been trying to develop their own engine for their new generation fighters but are right now still lacking the capability to manufacture the high precision and advanced engine necessary for 5th gen fighters)

We all know that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed in August 1945
After the explosion of atomic bombs.
However, we know little about the progress made by the people of that land
From 1945 to 2012 well I'm going to show you below.

I've been to Hiroshima twice in the last few years. Incredible place, the War Memorial always breaks me a little bit emotionally.

This is one of my pics of the site directly underneath where the bomb went off.....

Little Belgian boy saluting Canadian Troops THIS IS SOOOO GREAT...
"EYES RIGHT" is a command given in parades that pass the reviewing stand. Usually high ranking officers and or dignitaries are present in the reviewing stand. This is a show of "respect" ..
These Canadian Troops, show their class by giving the "EYES RIGHT" command in honor of the small boy in uniform, who saluted them with PRIDE. I really liked this clip. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. ....
Man, I love this! The troops are 100 yards away and the kid already has his fingers extended and joined, ready to salute!I don’t know if you have seen this one,but it is worth another look anyway. TO ALL in UNIFORM, past, present and future, and all those deployed. I hope my grandkids and all youngsters learn to appreciate their freedom like this kid. "Eyes Right" tribute.A lone young Belgian waits to salute Canadian Troops who were attending a memorial service.

most modern fighter iirc have thrust to weight ratio either over 1 or almost 1, with sufficient air speed at the start it should be possible to enter a vertical climb and at least hold that angle for some time though i'd imagine the fuel efficiency is going down the drain while at it.
