faaa, nice monitors Tas. Have you considered putting the Sammy in the middle? Ya know, just for symmetry's sake.

copied n pasted from another forum, cant be assed retyping it all up.

A small update on my current rig sporting the following hardware:

i5-750 @4GHz
8GIG GSkill DDR3 1600
Gigabyte P55A-UD4P
2x GTX570 Gigabyte Windforce Rev2.0 OC Edition
XFI Fatal1ty Titanium Champion PCIe
Kingston 120GIG SSD
WD 1TB Black

RX360
RS120
MCR360
EK RS250
Laiing D5 Vario with EK Block
XSPC Delta V3 CPU Block (want to update this!)
7/16 Black Tubing
EK 1/2" Barbs - some short threaded / short barbed.
EK 45degree and 90degree matt black fittings

LOOP: RES > PUMP > MCR360 > (GPUs will be here eventually) > RS120 > RX360 > CPU > RES

------------------------------------

OK, so now the fun part!

With the 2 GPUs in the mobo the only place for the sound card was between them, this was a pain int he **** as the top GPU had its fans restricted for airflow and temps were higher then they should be and so was the noise!

With the NB heatsink covering up the top PCIe 1x slot i finally got pissed off, cracked out the dremel and little grinder and took half of it off, thus allowing a full size PCIe card to be placed in there. Temps, stability etc all seem FINE with half the heatsink missing also. Its been like this for over 2 weeks with some warm temps in my PC room and some serious benching being done.

Ofcourse I had the mobo in a anti static bag while i was modding, i cut out a section enough for the NB sink to poke out and sealed it as best as possible and i was blasting out the alloy filings with my air compressor as I went and I also covered all sockets for extra protection incase any small bits slipped past the bag seal.

RX360 is mounted in the top with some Scythe 120mm Ultra Kaze 3000RPM Fans running from a fan controller, RS120 is mounted where the rear 140fan was (will replace with a RX120 probably if i do a mobo change as the new 2011 sockets have better space fro the IO sheild to the cpu socket)

I have NOW mounted a MCR360 in the bottom, removing the lower HDD cage and I have mounted the pump in there aswell. I was trying to get the best loop layout, and that seemed to do it. When the rebuild happens I will throw a RX360 in the bottom and get a dualbay res that the D5 will mount onto, that will neaten things up even more and give the rad more room.

I am going to mod the side panels to allow better airflow through the lower section, not sure on what I am going to do yet, might get fancy!

The current tubing loop is setup so that I can simply cut the tubing below the GPUs and then add the GPU blocks and then it will flow into the RS120, RX360 and then onto the CPU.

Also next PCCG order I will get some more braided GPU cables and ditch the conduit ;) - i promise.

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a196/Rnegade/700D/IMG_1927.jpg

next is to put the GPUs under H20 but as they are NON reference PCB i have to run some blocks from ether EK or XSPC and then some ramsink setup, which is not ideal. I might change the GPUs down the track to the new Nvidia 6*** Series in 6 months and get some blocks for them. I LOVE my GTX570s and with Surround, BF3 on Ultra I still get 70-90fps. I enable VSync to cap at 60 and its just amazing!!!

And my desk setup for now - replacing the 27" with a 3rd Dell 24" Ultrasharp when I get the spare dosh!!!

The Samsung is actually old, I gave it to a friend for Birthday pressy.. I bought a third Asus VE278Q to make em all same. But the strange thing is, I cant get em all lined up. even sitting flat on desk there are gaps between them for some reason. When I run the bezel alignment, I cant get the vertical adjustments to work, only the horizontal....

So when you turn the outside screens dont match up with the middle....

Checked desk is perfectly flat?
Weight of the monitors themselves maybe bowing it the tiniest bit and making gaps possibly?
I had issues getting 3 screens all lined up perfectly (2.5m long desk that bowed slightly under the monitors weight)
In the end i just mounted them onto an arm system and an hour or so of wrestling got them perfect.
