Dont re-invent the wheel guys.... the best map pack around was the two I found 4-5 yrs back now... on Gamearena.
Node had their equivalent back then.... tho these days I can only see the CPL pack.

You cant go wrong with these maps IMO..... thanks to the admins for this great CSS server.

PS: de_contra is in there as b-rex mentioned.

EDIT: On closer examination (i.e. the time stamp), it seems the CPL Pack was the one I saw back then... could've sworn it had more maps.... oh well.

map need balanced and playable for 32 players.
my mapcycle is ideal, you compromise.

de_rush remove, very lag after last update.
de_autumn only 10+10, very good map for 16+16, but need additional spawn.

I remember dust 3 being quite good. It has 32 slots from memory. would love to play it on this server.

Yep. that's the one. it is a good map. Forgot it was called Dust-pcg. Its been awhile. everyone used to call it dust 3 for obvious reasons. thnx.

yeah its a great map and called dust3 because the same guy who made dust and dust2 then made dust_pcg, unfortunately theres a spot the bomb can be planted and can't be defused and yes Vic it is probably too small.

It is on the warmod server however :)

i'm going to politely, yet firmly, recommend you ignore vic's suggestions for the most part

limiting guns is a poor idea. as is changing the cycle at all (with the exception of adding some new maps), however, i would advocate moving lost_temple to somewhere earlier in the cycle. it's quite a slow, grinding map, comparable to maps like dust, aztec, cobble and prodigy, with cts having an abudance of places to hide / camp / hold. i feel that it doesn't work well in the midst of fast maps like piranesi, cheateau and port, perhaps it should be moved earlier into the rotation

this new map, scud_pro, is interesting. can't say i'm a fan of frost yet, seems too random

i'd also recommend we introduce a few more cs maps. there is a ridiculuous trend towards de maps, as compared to cs, leading to cts being favoured on almost every map. even office is arguably ct favoured, as what tends to happen is that cts camp bunkers, pick off rushing ts, then move in and kill the ts trapped in offices

actually, looking at the list, we have 17 de maps, against 4 cs maps

and i know i always harp on about it, but would really, really love to see militia back in! surely there must be a viable solution, i found a fix on the steamforums before and linked it here

we don't plan on drastically changing the cycle radu123 just adding a map every now and then as you say

as for cs vs de maps there is indeed quite a lot more de maps at the moment but that could also be due to the lack of good cs maps around
(i find de maps more balanced because theres usually 2 choices of bombsite were as on cs maps ct's have to get to all the hostages)

If it ain't broke (and it isn't), dont fix it.... tinkering would be ok though. :)

What is the current rotation anyway? (Sticky with current rotation would be nice)

PS: Militia is too T-sided map for 32 players... please don't bring it back.

Have updated with radu123 suggestion for lost temple. Rotation will take effect when I restart server either later tonight or in the morning when no one is in there.

Will be going through some of the suggested maps over the next couple of days and see if I can find some more cs type maps.

I'd advocate for the removal of cs_compound.. I know awp'ers like it and its one of the achievement maps, but the server really grinds to a halt as soon as it drops. Its the one map where you can guaranteed get a slot on the server, as a lot of players leave. Its a good map normally, but it just doesn't work in a pub server, people don't know how to play it and 9 times out of 10 CT's just end up hiding in spawn waiting to die.

I also wouldn't miss cs_office (and this is obviously contrary to the desire for more cs_ maps.) as there are always 3-4 dedicated office servers with active populations.
