In my first play through with a paltry EMS I did destroy and didn't survive so I've missed out. But I stand by my decision in my second. The cycle is ended and Joker gets continual hot EDI love. BTW, did anyone think she was a rip off of Data?

Here's a breakdown on what is wrong with the ending to Mass Effect 3, done in the same style of the "Red-Letter Media" reviews of the Star Wars prequels. Spoilers obviously.

So i was just thinking right... stay with me for a bit, did everyone play the arrival DLC in me2? well if not, the whole deal was you have to blow up something called the alpha relay which i think is a super relay that can go to any other relay... or something like that, anyway the reapers were all on the way there, going to use it as a shortcut, but shephard blows it to hell with an asteroid taking a whole galaxy with it. OK? why not just wait until the reapers get there THEN blow it to hell with the asteroid... nix reapers yeah?

Or they arrive, you throw the rock, or they arrive with the rock... i mean asteroid already on the way (if you had some idea when they are arriving) to hit the relay and then they decide to shoot it down or shield the relay or any 'DON'T TOUCH MINE!' **** slap from the Reaper outcome you can think of...

and...

well that's a bummer, we're kinda screwed now aren't we...

im more into the ending.
coz im not buying the trekky approach at all.

being left with no real aftermath is despicable, though.

indoctrination theory for me.

still not satisfied, indoctrination theory ties up the end plot. Howver the other plot strings are left dangling. ALso indoctrination theory leaves us with Mass Effect 4 within the next decade.

Should've been two endings. Epic fail for femsheps aka current endings. Then supreme awesome shepard vs harbinger battle inside the reaper!

Started a second play through (insanity run) and damn if Ash Williams is much hotter than previously.

Some enterprising people are putting together a collection of ME3 screenshots, fan art, and letters about how the romances played out in their game, to try and convince Bioware to release romance DLC.

This is actually the second one they're doing, and they already presented a 200 page colleciton of fan letters to Bioware at PAX (pictured here is the Bioware community manager).

It was actually fairly successful.

We were pleased to see that as soon as we got
back to our seats, the whole team was flipping through the pages with an
utterly impressed look on their faces. Win! They even mentioned our
book and how gorgeous it was, and it got a huge amount of applause from
the attendees (which was pleasantly surprising.)

Did anyone else get stuck in the floor at the ending where you had to choose whether to destroy, control the reapers or go through synthesis? I played it on my partner's PC and was fine, but he then told me after that he was actually wondering around, and then got stuck in the floor, and ended up having to shoot at the relay instead because he couldn't actually do anything else. Needless to say, I pissed myself laughing at that.

Also, if anyone else has already mentioned this, I apologise. Can't really be bothered going through all 16 pages of this thread!

the stuck in the floor bug is an annoying one that's been in all 3 ME games. You can enable a no-clip mode in an ini file and bind a key to turn it on/off to get around it.
