Civilization V 'Gods & Kings' Expansion Coming June 22

2K Games announced today that the 'Gods & Kings' expansion for [app=7452]Civilization V[/app] will be hitting stores in Australia on June 22. The expansion will add "new civilizations, leaders, units, technologies and more, as well as the return of religion and espionage," and allow players to "found the first Pantheon of the Gods and spread religion across the world". Look out for more information closer to the date.

I hope they also fix the horrendous multiplayer (no mods, no unit animations, no SAVING! <--wtf)

You can save, just not from the main menu. It keeps auto saves and you can also alt tab and copy/rename an autosave to keep it.

So very stupid they don't just allow you to save it though.

mods in multiplayer has got to be the most important thing they add, if it's not added I'll be surpremely annoyed(being a mod designer for civ5)

I was able to save from the pause menu in multi-player every time I tried, and with the last patch they released, I noticed a huge improvement to the multi-player (well for LAN anyways) before the patch I wasn't able to host games etc, after the patch everything seemed to work properly.

A way to synchronise mods to the host would be an amazing thing. So many choice UI and slight changes that really make the game better.

What mods are yours? edit: that's awkward (looked at your sig). I'll dl and play a game with it soon! Any game-modes you recommend to complement your mod? Is your mod on the mod manager thing ingame?

my mod is in the manager just do a search for Cyrinno and it'll come up with 4 or so, download Echoes of Ages and play with no other mods. It's designed to be played in replacement of playing the normal game. :)
