(I know this threads way old but I figured i'd put my two cents in anyway)

When commanding AI units its best to select all using ~ and then 3, 5
which will tell them to fire at will instead of staring at an enemy solider untill he fires on them.

Secondly (people dont know this sometimes.)
when using static launchers like the TOW or METIS pressing 0 on the numpad will bring you into first person view instead of the
weird view right clicking gives you, and pressing N on the TOW will enable thermal vision.

I don't believe the GON server ever uses beta patches, what happens when you try to join?

oh i tried a beta patch last time, from what i remember GON server wont let u join =(

immediately re-install to regular patch after that

Well yes 91138 does work with Battleye. Earlier betas would get you kicked but that was Battleye being really lazy.

The server ver. is not an issue as long as your ahead of it i.e 1.6 91138

In the browser it says the server version is 1.60 and my version is 1.60.

I strongly recommend that everyone uses the betas as more often than not they fix or introduce features. until the beta says otherwise they will be compatible with the current standard version servers.

So that means you can run any of the betas that came out after that patch up until the next patch comes out.

Does that make sense.
