WOW Perks of smallish town i think there was like 15 people at my store.

My local store had a queue of about 25 people when I got there the second time. I did arrive at 8am, but decided that was too early, since there was no one so I went back home and had breakfast. Maybe if I'd waited an hour I'd have picked up a console cheap. Consoles sold out fast, all the 360 stuff I wanted wasn't on special (the points cards / play and charge kits / media remotes)

8 boxes/buckets/bin of AAA (mostly) titles for 5 bucks, which were gone by the time I walked out.
Three crates of xboxs which went in literally less then 5 mins.
Ps3's somewhere, didn't get to those quick enough to find them.
And the DSi's were no where to be seen. That or they got snapped up real quick.

On the best of days my local store only stocks 2-3 Xbox's and maybe 1 PS3. Gave it a miss. Checked out the website this morning, nothing. The mobile site doesn't have reduced prices. Meh, I never buy anything there anyway.

However, did anyone manage to get anything really good, for conversations sake?

Went into the Mt Ommaney store this morning and managed a copy of red faction guerilla ($1), could have grabbed 3-4 wii fitness boards and a stack of wii/ps3 games but honestly couldn't be bothered. Watched in horror as some guy found the only g19 keyboard and left cackling, was good fun .

The store I went to had absolutely nothing. No consoles, hardly any games or anything else. Pretty pathetic attempt at a sale and I'd imagine they'll have a few people headed to ACCC about it.Especially considering the fact they have so many dumbass employees posting on social networking about getting the items almost a week ago.

Yeah, I'm sure there'll be some ramifications for this. By confirming the list was genuine, I'd say it still counts as advertising.

I went past the west lakes store about 8:40am. looked like about 20 people there. I already checked stock numbers and all they really had was limited stock of DSi metallic blue, not sure about the games though.

Hardly any of the specials were ticketed as reduced but they still scanned at the reduced price.
People were grabbing everything in the store. Some guy grabbed about 20 MS point cards but they weren't the cards on sale (different product code)

I went in on friday with the list that had the Dick Smith codes on them and checked it all out.
Was able to grab a Move Shooter $5, Eye pet box (with the camera) $5 and some games for $5.
The consoles (xboxs, ps3 and dsi) were all on a table at the counter and gone in the first few seconds.
