My understanding is that if you purchase is online, you pay for it to be sent out from wherever the stock is, like you normally would when you get it from online. I don't think your local stores stock level plays into it much.. but I could be wrong

You are right, the website is a separate thing from the store, it's like ordering anything else online, I've ordered a few things from there, they are really fast too, order Monday and you will see it Wednesday (Thursday at the latest).

Well I only found 1 $100 xbox online, and games were still expensive. So no uncharted double pack for $5

It seems that in terms of online pricing we were lied to. Plus it was on the news this morning so good luck getting anything lol.

EDIT: If your looking for a cheap G27, you won't find one because they were told to put the price back up to $499, damn scum. It shows this is just a marketing scheme for them to boost sales..

I've stopped even looking now, they've pretty much got no stock already and it's a massive push to get people into their stores to look at 'non sale items'. I'm rather pissed off that in terms of the online stock they have marked down nothing except for the DSi's and one Xbox.

So much for the $100 250GB Xbox 360..

I went to the one at Capalaba this morning. One of the first through the doors, and not much was reduced. A few games, some **** console stuff (not consoles from what i heard people mumbling) and bits and pieces.

A few people asked the question, and the response given was that management was pissed off at the leaked information, so they decided to leave lots of things at full price, and might/should eventually drop prices, depending on how things go. He also said they might start recucing prices on monday the 10th.

Annoying, as the stuff i wanted i grabbed, but wasnt going to pay full price for them.

^ I'm calling complete bull on that. These things happen! Just look at Battlefield 3 as an example of 'leaked selling'. One person finds out the juice and spreads the word, get better security on your information DSE.

I'm annoyed that they've jacked up prices, it's sounding more and more like some kind of marketing con.
