Prince of Persia takes me back, baby. Floppy disks ruled storage media when this classic was first born, and now, it’s inadvertently been reborn – or, at least, rediscovered. The game’s creator, Jordan Mechner, recently unearthed the game’s source code in the most comical way possible. Not only that, he’s going to put it some kind of use: “I will now begin working with a digital-archeology-minded friend to attempt to figure out how to transfer 3.5″ Apple ProDOS disks onto a MacBook Air and into some kind of 21st-century-readable format.”
