How can a patch be 1+ gigs and not offer any new content?

read the whole patch changes and its all gameplay tweaks no content

Maybe it's all the upcoming DLC that we have to pay to unlock?!

Been playing PS3 this evening and all i can say is:

THEY FIXED THE GAME.

I reckon this is what DICE wanted to release and what EA couldn't wait for (what with MW3 and all).
Now it feels like fun!
Can't wait for PC!

This is worth the download alone, everything else is irrelevant.

There are a few things i like they have fixed but now the game has spawn and death flashes where my screen flashes when i die and spawn, its damn annoying and also there feels like some game lag which ive never had before, very off putting.

I feel that some guns got the tweak but others they seem to have them over powered now.

Its going to take some time to get used to again, personally the game feels very clunky and doesnt seem to respond as fluid as it did before the patch.

I havent played any vehicular maps yet though.

The green flashes? I used to get those.
happened in bc2 as well.
