**** day. Neck cramp to end all neck cramps from dawn until what I am guessing will be dusk this time next week the way it's going, lost $10 worth of free drinks I won due to a delay so frustrating the most deviouse minds on the planet zorg couldn't have drempt up, and Mass Effect 3 Collectors Edition confirmed as lost in transit.

I would not want to be my sparring partner next session. I think a good drowning of sorrows is in order, provided I can get up and walk to the bar with the crippling pain in my neck

How do?

Add another data set? I dunno.

Hazzuh! I found a way to badly combine them.

It's dodgy but, meh.

Welcome to the world of Business Intelligence. We honestly had that to start, it was sad to say the least.

Maybe we should hire a new IT person.

I hear cyclobs knows his stuff...

Honestly though, its not that difficult. Your company needs moar awesome.

Woah i got a recommendation >.< but yes it's seriously not hard to write sites that are cross compatable. Just don't useIE as your lesd browser

What pisses me off, is that if something doesn't work, the IT guy should.. you know, fix it so it does? Not just shrug and go "tell em to use IE".

Depends what you mean by 'IT guy'.

Would you really get an 'IT guy' to design your company website? If the problem is integral in the website design, you probably want a specialist rather than a technician. I certainly wouldn't hire a network administrator or computer tech to design my business website. I'd end up with something done in MS Paint.

And given that 'IT guys' don't do web design generally, it's likely not his fault.

It would still be his job to solve the problem. However that may be.

Oh I'm not excusing his 'tell them to use IE' comment. He should have suggested they go back to the website designers in the first place. That would be the logical starting point to fix design problems.

Just like if something goes wrong with a router he wouldn't necessarily break out the soldiering iron and fix it himself, but RM it if needed.

But likewise website design needs to be seen as specialist code, and the best person to fix it is the original designer.

No it wouldn't. IT is a very broad field. I've had issues myself with people making assumptions that because of my job I could solve all their IT issues, doesn't work that way. If he didn't know how to solve the problem he should have directed them to someone who could though, not just give an obviously BS solution for something outside of his area of expertise, to me that just shows a lack of motivation and care.

My Dad passed away 1 year ago on Wednesday. I regret not spending more time with him growing up, but cannot change that. He knows he is loved, and that is all that really mattes in the end. Looking at pictures of us from last year still brings tears to my eyes.
Love you dad <3
