Hah, same. Sold my iPad 2 earlier today and grabbed the 3 at lunch.

I could have probably got more for it on Ebay, But I just sold mine to a mate for $450 (was a 32gb 3G/Wifi), plus he got me a 10% discount off the new one for me (also a 32GB 4G/Wifi)...so all up it cost me $250 to change over to the new version

I sold my 16GB WiF+3G for $370 so the new 16GB WiFi+4G only cost me $309

Going to buy a pre-owned iPhone 3GS later next month solely because of support reasons, I HATE using an out-dated brick, none of the Android phone look sexy to me and it's only ~$300. Still over-priced imo since its over 2 years old but iPhone sellers have ALWAYS been a bunch of morons and ignore depreciation value "BECAUSE ITS AN APPLE PRODUCT EVERYONE WANTS AND ITS COOL HERP DERP"

People are willing to pay more for used Apple gear. Sellers don't determine what people will buy stuff for. If sellers didn't think the price was right, they would just not buy it :\
If you thought it cost too much, you wouldn't buy it!
