They're aware that the launcher claims it can't connect to minecraft.net.

EDIT: Download the latest .jar if you're using that, or run the .exe and all fixed.

Is the server broken? I login OK but as soon as it joins I fall straight down until -2048 and then it has a SocketTimeoutException. I had managed to join previously following the map reset a few days ago.

I can't play either. It shows up as "downloading terrain" for several minutes, then an error, then it's unreachable if I try to reconnect.

Yeah something was causing some epic lag near spawn I think, couldn't even log in.

Not sure how recoverable it is, so I backed up the world and let it start fresh so you can still play :P

Why? It has its own client, isn't dependent on Minecraft's schedule at all.

Sky limit increase. Jungle Biomes. Etc.
I know it's separate - it's awesome that it is. But being able to construct (and use Turtles/Buildcraft Builders to do so) massive massive towers. Well, I just think that'd be massively fun. :P

Also, I wonder how hard it'd be to multi-verse it. While it's fun being creative, it's so much more a sense of achievement getting to the Nuclear stage without cheating. :P

Rubberwood trees (not the little rubber trees) irk me, I wish the Lumber mod worked. Maybe they'd have to make it so you knocked out all the bottom ones, but everytime I walk past a tree that someone has taken just the blocks they can reach from.... Argh... My OCD kicks in. >.<

yeah making terraformers and letting them run appears to bug the chunks around it when they wake back up, that was probably the reason for the last wipe.

could also be something to do with the tunnel bore

might be a command you can try to use on login. see if you can type "/warp a" when you log in, it'll warp you over to where i'm building

just don't start any terraformers near me
