I was pretty amazed they gave the prisoner to him tbh, it really seems like rick doesn't have the guys to be the leader atm, any time something practical needs to be done it's always down to Daryl.

I'm probably wrong but it seems to me that they're running Daryl and Rick down the same path but from different directions. Daryl is certainly heading to a point where he'll soften; I expect him and Carol to hookup with a possible relationship with a Michonne type if not Michonne herself, echoing the books. Rick is still obviously struggling in the transition from do-gooder cop to hard-nosed leader; I expect him to go well off the deep end when Lori dies.

When they mentioned Andrea was a lawyer it actually got me wondering, she wasa secretary or something like that in the comic and it was Michonne that was the lawyer, wonder if that character is still going to be in the tv series?

I love that they still brought around Shane's comic death to happen in tv but without damaging the massive buildup they'd been doing between shane and rick. Really enjoyed it!

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I kept watching that last part of the episode and was all like.. WHERE IS CARL! HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE HERE! And then Shane gets all zombified and THEN Carl turns up.. thank god we finally got around to killing one of the more annoying characters lately.

Also, I think that the scientist whispered in Ricks ear that the virus is now airborne which explains how they were not bitten but still zombified

Shane was a douche... but to be honest... the dude that played him deserves some type of award because he was freaking fantastic! Im going to have to rewatch it all now to find out who Jenner was... i cant remember lol

Great episode that was last night. I have to say that show the has just gotten better and better lately. I wonder if there has been a change in direction, the episodes lately seemed to have been just shot better. More shots with purpose (Shane eyeing the loner walker in the fields strikes me as on of those).

I haven't read the comics so I'm going to love theorising how the infection is passed on now. Can't imagine what the season finale is going to bring.

wasn't Jenner the scientist in the Biological Control place that blew up at end of season 1. I don't remember his whispering something into Rick's ear. Will be interesting to see what is revealed about new infection spread, probably not till next season though, i'm guessing end of this season will just be surviving the oncoming horde from end of this episode....which look soooooo cool!

btw, thought it was interesting the use of 'zombies eating' shots to show Shane transitioning into zombie, like they were eating his mind and that was turning him.
Guy who played Shane was awesome, didn't like character and that came down to the guy playing him very well. Hated character and yet when he comes up to Rick to tell him about the son and saying he needs his dad and Rick was prioritising mission over son, you couldn't help but agree with Shane. That is the sign of a well played out character, hate him but still agree with him and like him sometimes.
