The ending past the credits was sweet though

But the key reason I much prefer ME3 to ME2 is that ME2 overall story was tired and non-innovative. You spent the game recruiting squad members. Which is just Dragon Age in Space. ME3 doesn't do that.
ME2 was also incredibly disjointed in that doing some loyalty mission somehow improved, for example, the ability to avoid a headshot in the suicide mission. That's not how loyalty works. I found the whole concept utterly ridiculous, despite the overall game being great.
The headshot example was real. My 'disloyal' Tali showed her 'disloyalty' by charging forward to try and help Shepard (who she felt disloyal to) and threw herself in front of a person in the line of fire, who, did I mention... she didn't feel any loyalty to? "I don't like you but out of spite I'm going to sacrifice myself for you!"
I guess everyone will see what they're predisposed to see. There were plot holes big enough to drive a truck through in ME2, and to level the same criticism against ME3 as if it's a much worse thing sounds off.
ME2 was still a 9/10 game, but ME3 has fixed many of the things I didn't like, so I think it's 9.5-10/10.
Another good one is I never play my character as a pure paragon or renegade. ME2 punished that, ME3 doesn't - I can now choose paragon or renegade options based on my total reputation, not individual alignment scores. My femshep leans towards paragon, but will go renegade if she's stressed, and ME2 didn't like that much.
The only major plot hole I'll complain about so far in ME3, which stops it getting a perfect 10 in my mind is... why on earth did my Shepard leave Cerberus and turn herself in? I find the concept a bit hard to fathom, since she was on pretty good terms with Cerberus by the end of ME2. They needed to show the Normandy getting caught or something in an intro cutscene. The game start was a bit jarring.

Forgot how much I loved everything about this game.
Just found out about the Collector's IFF and have 7 loyalty missions to complete.

They need to fix the lag if they want me to play the stupid multiplayer. Granted it's fun when it works but in this state it's pretty much unplayable.

I take it you don't know how peer-to-peer works?
they aren't hosting servers to run the game instances.
you get lag when some idiot in Bulgaria is hosting because there is no way to filter the games you join by ping.
if you host the game then you don't see the lag.
