Ever lost your keys?

Ever lost your keys?

Unread postby Onyx » 7 Mar 12, 9:47 pm

So there I was after an hour of searching for my car keys... down, out and ready to part with $385 to a complete wanker of a locksmith. I'd just given all my details to the receptionist over the phone and was waiting for a call from the technician to see when he'd be arriving, when all of a sudden, a memory popped into my head; At 6 this morning, I was using my keys to try and dig a parking ticket out from between my dashboard and windscreen. It was a long-shot, but it was the only shot I had. With a faint glimmer hope and $385 worth of desperation, I hurried back to my car to see if this memory would prove successful. Low and behold, there were my keys, hiding in the corner of my dashboard.

Moments later, I received a phone call from the locksmith telling me it would now cost $485 to come out. Telling him to get **** was nearly as pleasurable as finding my keys was...

I accidentally dropped my key down an elevator shaft today... Had a mini panic attack as my only set or car keys was on that keyring.

Luckily I was able to get them back about 3 hours later.

A joke I've seen and still think is funny is on the front of the locksmiths place of business someone has very cheekily replaced the 1st L with a C
